| Welcome to the website of the 16th Norwich Sea Scouts, we are an active group which runs most of the Scouting and Guiding sections, we are located about 5 miles to the North West of Norwich in the village of Old Costessey. The Scout hut is located on a site which is situated on the River Wensum on a plot of land of about just over an acre.
We are part of the Northern Norwich Scout District which is part of the Norfolk County. The following sections run within the group: - | Section | Age Range | | Beavers | 6 - 8 | | Rainbows | 5 - 7 | | Cubs | 8 - 10½ | | Brownies | 8 - 10 | | Scouts | 10½ - 14½ |
The groups necker colour is red and green, this is rather appropiate for the goup since these are the colours of sea mark buoys. When approaching a harbour from seaward, conical green marks to starboard (right) and cylindrical red ones to port (left). (For more information click here)
